Phil Walsh Best Team Man award
Presented every year since the Club’s inaugural AFL season, the Best Team Man award recognises the most selfless player who lives and breathes ‘team first’.
The prestigious award was renamed in 2015 in honour of former coach Phil Walsh, who died during the 2015 season.
Two-time premiership captain Mark Bickley and 200-gamer Richard Douglas and Reilly O’Brien have won the Team Man award three times during their careers.
Mark Ricciuto, Mark Stevens, Michael Doughty, Scott Stevens and Tom Lynch have also won the award on multiple occasions.
The inaugural winner in 1991 was Rodney Maynard.
