The Australian Football Hall of Fame seeks to recognise and enshrine players, coaches, umpires, administrators and media representatives who have made significant contributions to Australian Football – at any level – since the game’s inception in 1858.

Five Adelaide AFL players have been inducted primarily for their achievements with the Adelaide Football Club. They are Mark Bickley, Andrew McLeod, Mark Ricciuto, Ben Hart and Simon Goodwin.
Darren Jarman was the first former Crows player inducted (in 2007) but his stellar career previously featured success with SANFL club North Adelaide, South Australia and Hawthorn, where he spent his first five AFL seasons.
Two-time Adelaide AFL premiership coach Malcolm Blight has Legend status in the Hall of Fame and inaugural Crows captain Chris McDermott was inducted in 2024 in recognition of his remarkable service to South Australian football, starting at Glenelg. Inaugural Adelaide coach Graham Cornes was inducted in 2012 for his contribution to Australian football dating back to 1967 when, he made his SANFL debut with Glenelg. And Adelaide’s first chairman Bob Hammond was also honoured for lengthy service to the game, on and off the field.
Other Australian Football Hall of Fame inductees with some Crows connection include former SANFL President Max Basheer, Gary Ayres, former Crows chairman of selectors John Halbert, North Melbourne champion Wayne Carey, inaugural Crows assistant coach Michael Taylor and South Australian football legend Neil Kerley, who was Adelaide’s first football manager.
