Crows AFLW recruiting
2016 for 2017 season
Kellie Gibson and Chelsea Randall
Adelaide’s list planning for its entry to the AFLW started early in 2016 when potential recruits joined talent camps, worked with Crows development coaches and played in representative games. The licence partnership with the Northern Territory grew the recruiting zone but the first two official “marquee” signings – Chelsea Randall and Kellie Gibson – were both from Western Australia. Basketball star Erin Phillips was a surprise signing and promising SA teenager Ebony Marinoff was the club’s first draft pick.
