Biography

Sally Riley was one of six Northern Territory-based players selected by Adelaide in the inaugural AFL Women’s draft. Based in Darwin, the tough inside midfielder was appointed joint vice-captain and played every match for the Crows in 2017, their first premiership winning season. After playing six games in the following two seasons, Riley moved to Gold Coast for the 2020 season. She retired at the end of the 2021 campaign having played 23 AFLW games in five seasons.
