Biography

A clever goalkicker who also played in the midfield, Ruth Wallace was drafted by the Crows in 2017 after being a member of the inaugural SANFL Women’s premiership winning side, Norwood. Wallace played Australian Rules growing up but switched to soccer in the absence of female football pathways. She joined Adelaide United in 2008 and represented the Australian Junior Matildas in 2009. Wallace had a terrific debut AFLW season, playing all seven games in 2018 and finishing as the Club’s equal leading goalkicker with seven goals.
