Talented netballer Maisie Nankivell was signed by the Crows in 2019 as an other-sport rookie. Hailing from Tatiara in SA’s South East, Nankivell had represented Australia in netball at Under-19 level. Her football talent was spotted by Crows midfielder Ebony Marinoff during a school game. She played two games in the 2019 season before returning to netball when Adelaide Thunderbirds offered her a full-time contract.
