Biography

AFC Debut Game: Round 2 v Western Bulldogs, 2017

Fresh off the back of competing in Iceland’s premier female soccer competition, Jenna McCormick was drafted by the Crows ahead of the inaugural AFL Women’s season.

The multi-talented South Australian did not give up the round ball, however, opting to play in the W-League with Canberra United before switching to the Crows in time to make her AFLW debut in the second round. McCormick was used forward in her first season and played in the 2017 premiership side. She juggled both sports for three seasons until electing to focus on soccer after Adelaide’s second AFLW title in 2019.

Mt Gambier-born McCormick made her national debut for the Matildas later that year.
