Biography
Jasmyn Hewett was drafted by the Crows in 2017, a year after moving to Darwin and starring with NTFL team St Mary’s in her first season of football. A tall and athletic utility with strong contested marking ability, Hewett ranked inside the top 10 in all six physical tests at the AFL Women’s Draft Combine, including second placings in the Yo-Yo test, the vertical jump and the 2km time trial. She made her AFL debut in the open round of 2018 and played seven games but missed the entire 2019 with a serious ankle injury. Hewett joined Gold Coast in 2020 but then returned to the Crows in 2022 as a delisted free agent and played three more games, including the premiership win in season six. She was added to the inactive list ahead of season seven for work reasons.
