Biography

AFC Debut Game: Round 1 v GWS Giants, 2017

An army medic, Heather Anderson was the first Northern Territory-based player drafted by the Crows in 2016. Originally from the ACT, she had been posted to Darwin the previous year and starred for Waratah.  The courageous defender recovered from a serious shoulder to play every game in the 2017 AFLW season, including the winning grand final. Anderson, who wore a conspicuous pink helmet, suffered another dislocated shoulder in the grand final and needed further surgery.
