Biography
Dayna Cox was not picked in the first AFLW draft but arrived at the Crows for the inaugural season after being signed as a free agent. The competitive and aggressive player forced her way into the side as a small defender and played every game in the first season, including the grand final win. Cox followed up her impressive debut season in 2017 with another strong year in 2018 and then won a second premiership in 2019. Cox’s last game for Adelaide was the losing 2021 grand final. Injuries kept her out of the first 2022 season and after joining the police force Cox was moved to the inactive list before retiring after season seven.
