Biography

AFC Debut Game: Round 1 v GWS Giants, 2017

Courtney Cramey was one of South Australia’s best and most experienced players when the arrival of the Crows provided her with a chance to play in the new AFL women’s competition.

A four-time SAWFL premiership player with Sturt and Morphettville Park and SA captain, Cramey was a priority selection for Adelaide ahead of the inaugural AFLW season in 2017. She starred in the club’s first premiership with 23 disposals and was one of five Crows named in the All-Australian team.

In 2018, Cramey was elevated into the leadership group as vice-captain but had an injury interrupted year, playing four games. Cramey missed two games in 2019 but was still a strong contributor in Adelaide’s second premiership. She retired at the end of the 2020 season but then moved into coaching at the Club with the AFLW program and the Next Generation Academy.

Cramey was awarded Life Membership of the Adelaide Football Club in 2024, in recognition of her outstanding service to the Crows and South Australian football.
