Biography
Ashleigh Woodland played 36 games for the Crows after being taken in the 2020 AFLW Draft at pick No.47.
She had first played with Melbourne in 2019 (four games) after being recruited as a free agent. Woodland then returned to South Australia and was drafted by the Crows after a successful 2020 SANFLW season, where she took home the leading goalkicker award, helped lead North Adelaide to its first premiership and was named the Roosters’ best and fairest player.
Woodland kicked 44 goals across her three seasons at the Crows, winning the league’s leading goalkicker award in 2022 and the Club’s leading goalkicker award back-to-back in Season Six and Seven.
Woodland was part of Adelaide’s 2022 season six premiership winning team and that season was named in the AFL Women’s All-Australian team alongside three of her premiership teammates.
