Biography
AFC Debut Game: Round 1 v GWS Giants, 2017
Originally from Victor Harbor in South Australia, Abbey Holmes starred in the NTFL competition in Darwin and in 2013/14 became the first woman to kick more than 100 goals in a season. She was drafted by the Crows for their inaugural squad and made her debut in the club’s first game. Holmes played every match that season, including the premiership win. She had an injury interrupted season in 2018, playing three games. Holmes appeared on the TV show Australian Survivor in 2019 and 2020 and also works as a TV football commentator for AFL and AFLW.
