Originally selected by Carlton in the 2012 AFL Draft with pick No. 11, Troy Menzel booted 47 goals through 40 games with the Blues. His best year was 2014 with 26 goals in 19 games, the left-footer showed off just why he was taken so highly.
The former Central District (SANFL) player returned home ahead of the 2016 season in a trade to Adelaide. He failed to break into the Crows’ best-22, however, and was delisted after two seasons. Menzel returned to Central Districts following the end of his AFL career.
