Recognised as a brilliant and spectacular forward, Tony Hall played in two SANFL premierships for Glenelg (1985, 1986) before playing a key role in Hawthorn’s 1988 premiership. With the Hawks he was named All Australian and finished fourth in the Brownlow count that same year. A knee reconstruction in 1989 did not slow him down and he added a second premiership in 1991. Hall opted to return to SA and join Adelaide in 1993, playing 17 games over two seasons. He was on the AFC Board from 1997-1998.
