Ricky O’Loughlin joined as a SANFL premiership winner with Port Adelaide in 1999, and the skillful half-forward showed plenty of potential. The younger brother of Sydney star Michael O’Loughlin, he had few opportunities and after two seasons played just nine games. He then spent a season on Sydney’s rookie list without making an appearance.
