Ricky Henderson was a rookie selection by the Crows in 2009, although his Aussie Rules experience was limited due to the Victorian focusing on basketball in the years leading up to his selection. Despite that he eased back into the sport to debut in 2010.
Over the next seven seasons he strung together 90 games in an injury-hit career. Prior to the 2014 season he broke his leg at training, having seen his 2013 campaign ended early by a knee injury. Throughout his career he proved to be a versatile player in various positions without truly establishing himself among the Club’s best-22.
Following the 2016 season he was delisted and then signed by Hawthorn.
