Randall Bone was only 17 when recruited from South Adelaide, as one of South Australia’s most promising junior tall forwards. He kicked three goals in his AFL debut against Melbourne in 1992 and played mainly at centre half-forward and as a back-up ruckman. But after 10 games in 1993 he was delisted and moved to Hawthorn in 1995.
