A highly-rated junior at North Adelaide, Peter Turner made his SANFL league debut aged 16 in the 1990 preliminary final. He was added to Adelaide’s inaugural AFL list in 1991 and that season captained SA’s Teal Cup team and won All-Australian under-17 selection. Adelaide remained patient and he finally made his AFL debut in 1994. But the 194cm forward played just three games for the Crows and then two more with Carlton in 1996.
