Paul Seedsman was drafted by Collingwood in 2010, made his AFL debut in 2012, and played 49 games for the Magpies. He won the Anzac Day Medal in 2015 but lost his spot in the team for the second half of the year and was traded to Adelaide at the end of the 2015 season.

Seedman’s speed and booming kick quickly proved a handy addition to the Crows in 2016, when he played 15 AFL games. A groin injury sidelined him for several months in 2017 but he returned to the AFL side late in the year and played five games, including the three finals. He played 19 games in 2018, mainly across half-back, averaged 20.5 disposals per game and finished equal ninth in the best-and fairest voting.

Finger and knee injuries held Seedsman back in 2019 but he played his 100th AFL game against his previous club Collingwood late in the season. After nine appearances in the shortened 2020 season, Seedsman rebounded in 2021 for a career-best year on the wing, earning selection in the All-Australian squad after averaging 26 disposals in 22 games. He also finished third in the Club Champion award.

Seedsman was concussed at a pre-season training session early in 2021 and did not play another game for the Club before he retired at the end of the 2023 season. He played 83 AFL games and 13 SANFL games for the Crows.
