Nick Pesch was a hard-working, skillful rover who impressed after playing in the 1993 SANFL premiership with Woodville-West Torrens and was claimed by the crows at the 1993 AFL draft. After seven games in 1994 and 15 in 1995 nagging injuries slowed his development and after losing confidence he struggled to win his place back in the side playing only nine in 1996 and was delisted. After a brief stint at Melbourne in 1997 he returned to Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL.
