After stints with Melbourne and North Melbourne but no AFL appearances, Nick Gill’s SANFL form as a strong-marking forward for North Adelaide created another AFL opportunity with Adelaide. After some hamstring troubles, he made his debut as a 24-year-old in Round 17, 2007. He kicked at least one goal in all but three of his seventeen appearances, including a match-winning five-goal haul against Essendon in 2008, however after playing only one game in the 2009 he was delisted.
