A noted goalkicker and strong overhead, Myles Poholke starred in the TAC Cup with the Dandenong Stingrays, averaging 21 disposals to be a co-winner of the team’s best and fairest despite missing almost a third of the season.He toured with the AFL Academy squad alongside fellow eventual Crows draftee Jordan Gallucci and also impressed at the Under-18 National Championships, featuring in all four games with Victoria Country. A well-rounded and mature-bodied midfielder, Adelaide picked Poholke with pick No.44 in the 2016 National Draft.
In his first SANFL season, Poholke played 17 games, finishing in the top 10 for the Adelaide State League Club Champion count. His unofficial debut was in the JLT Community Series before he debuted with the senior squad in Round Five, 2018, against Sydney. He went on to play another 15 games before being delisted at the completion of the 2020 season
