Matthew Kelly was a talented midfielder/flanker selected in Adelaide’s foundation, yet serious knee injuries limited his career to just two AFL games. He was drafted by Collingwood at the end of 1989 but stayed with Norwood, where he played 50 games. Kelly’s grandfather, Maurie Arbon, was a State footballer and 1949 premiership player with North Adelaide.
