Lewis Johnston, the No. 12 pick at the 2008 National Draft, was traded to Adelaide in 2011 after playing just two games in three seasons with the Sydney Swans. The former North Adelaide junior, and 2008All Australian under-18, also struggled for opportunities at the Crows and played just eight games through three seasons. He kicked a career-high six goals in Adelaide’s final game at AAMI Stadium in 2013. in the following year, Johnston  then scored Adelaide’s first goal in its inaugural game  at Adelaide Oval.
