Kurt Tippett was drafted to the Crows from the Southport Sharks in the NEAFL with pick No. 32 in the 2006 AFL Draft. He debuted in round one of the 2008 season against the Western Bulldogs and had a successful first year – earning the Mark Bickley Emerging Talent Award at the Club Champion awards night.

From there, Tippett went on to play 104 games for the Crows as a key forward and ruckman, kicking 188 goals. He was the club’s leading goalkicker in 2010 with 46 goals.

After the 2012 season, Tippett requested a trade from the club and joined the Sydney Swans via the pre-season draft, retiring in 2018.
