Biography

Originally from Swan Hill in Victoria, Josh Jenkins moved to Queensland to play basketball in the QABL. During his time with NBL side Townsville Crocodiles, he was invited to a training camp for expansion club GWS Giants. Essendon, however, swooped on the 200cm talent and he played in the VFL in 2011.

Jenkins was soon traded to Adelaide where he has been a key part of the Crows forward line ever since, with 274 goals from 136 games. In 2016, the athletic forward kicked a career-best 62 goals and was named in the 40-man All-Australian squad for the first time.

In 2018, he was the Club’s leading goal kicker with 46 majors. Jenkins married his partner Hannah Delmenico just after Christmas in 2018, and they have one daughter together, Lottie Blake.

After the 2019 season where Jenkins played 11 games, he requested a trade and moved to Geelong.
