Jenkins was  traded to Adelaide where he became a key part of the Crows forward line kicking 274 goals in 136 games. In 2016, the athletic forward kicked a career-best 62 goals and was named in the 40-man All-Australian squad for the first time.

In 2018, he was the Club’s leading goal kicker with 46 majors.

After the 2019 season in which Jenkins played 11 games, he requested  and was granted a trade and moved to Geelong.
