Jared Petrenko was drafted from Woodville-West Torrens as a rookie in 2008 and made his AFL debut in Adelaide’s season opener in 2009. He produced his best football in 2012, appearing in 23 games including a career-best three-goal performance against Sydney in Round Six, as well as three finals appearances.
Memorably, he kicked the winning goal in the dying seconds of Adelaide’s Round Nine Indigenous Round clash with North Melbourne in 2013. He was delisted at the end of 2014 after 76 games with the Club and returned to the Eagles.
