From Loxton in South Australia’s Riverland, Grantley Fielke was a star wingman with West Adelaide from 1979 and was a member of their 1983 premiership side. He won the Magarey Medal in 1985, followed by 15 games with Collingwood in the VFL in 1987. He returned to SA soon after and was given another opportunity with Adelaide. Fielke played 24 games in the Club’s first two seasons. He played 364 SANFL games for West Adelaide until 1997, a club record.
