Biography

An unfashionable and courageous small forward/midfielder, David Brown played in two SANFL premierships with Port (and missed two through injury) before joining Adelaide’s inaugural squad for the 1991 season. He made his AFL debut midway through the year and in his six years with the Crows played 69 AFL games.

Brown was traded to Port Adelaide to join its inaugural AFL squad in 1997 and played 22 games in two seasons for the Power. His SANFL career was punctuated by six premierships before he retired in 2001 after 183 games.
