During Charlie Cameron’s four seasons with Adelaide he earned a reputation as a livewire small forward with 87 goals in 73 games. From Queensland, Cameron moved to Perth as a teenager where he announced his draft potential with Swan Districts, having come from a multi-sport background.

Adelaide selected him in the 2013 Rookie Draft and in his very first season earned promotion to the senior list for his AFL debut. In 2015 he had already cemented his spot in the Club’s best 22 with 29 goals in 22 games. He earned a Rising Star nomination.

Cameron never dropped out of the Club’s first-choice forward line but in 2017 he surprised Adelaide with a trade request to his hometown club, Brisbane. The Crows obliged and the young Indigenous talent began a new journey.
