AFC Career Guernsey Number: 28

Selected with pick No. 64 at the 2011 draft, Cam Ellis-Yolmen rose through the ranks at Flinders Park and Henley High School in Adelaide’s western suburbs. During his first two years on Adelaide’s list he established himself as a senior player for Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL until he finally made his debut in Round 12, 2014, against Fremantle. The midfielder was also selected in the Australian Indigenous team that played Ireland in 2013’s International Rules series.

Ellis-Yolmen was unable to consistently break into Adelaide’s best 22, and when he ruptured his ACL ahead the 2017 season he was released and re-drafted as a rookie for 2018. With just 14 games to his name at that stage he added another 15 in his most recent season, finding consistency as a big-bodied, high pressure player. Ellis-Yolmen played well in his 10 games in 2019, before succumbing to a shin injury. At the end of the 2019 season, Ellis-Yolmen moved to Brisbane as an unrestricted free agent.
