After spending some time with Geelong in 1993, Bryan Beinke returned to the SANFL’s Port Adelaide Magpies, playing in their 1996 premiership side. He won a further two premierships with the Magpies and in 1998 won their best and fairest, and was their leading goalkicker.
He was overlooked by the Power, however, and consequently was drafted by the Crows and played some good football as a marking forward. His 38 games were spread across four seasons, though, and he never truly settled into the starting line-up.
