Born in England, Brad Moran was a latecomer to Australian football and was given his first AFL opportunity by North Melbourne in 2006. He won an AFL Rising Star nomination on debut but only managed three games across two seasons at Arden Street.
Adelaide traded for the ruckman/forward in 2007 and after some early injuries he showed promise late in the season. A PCL tear derailed his 2009 campaign and persistent knee and hip complications during rehabilitation also cost Moran the entire 2010 season. Almost two years on from his initial injury, Moran returned in Round 11, 2011 against his former club, then retired post-season.
