Originally from Western Australia, Port Adelaide drafted Billy Frampton with pick No. 84 in the 2014 National Draft. The 200cm ruck-forward played only three games for the Power across five seasons before switching to Adelaide – the club he followed before he was drafted – in the 2019 Trade Period. Frampton made his Crows debut in Round One, 2020, and played five games in that COVID-19 interrupted season. He was the sixth player to appear on both Power and Crows AFL lists. Frampton was used with some success in defence in 2021 and early in 2022. He finished the season strongly in the SANFL finals but moved to Collingwood in the 2022 trade period, after 21 AFL games for the Crows.
