Ben Davis was an inaugural member of Sydney’s Academy squad and NSW/ACT and Allies player at the 2016 Under 18 National Championships.

He starred for the Rams in their unbeaten Division Two campaign with 10 goals and the Crows snapped him up at pick No. 75 in the national draft. An injury-interrupted start to 2017 delayed his transition to the AFL, but a full pre-season helped him become one of the SANFL Crows’ best in 2018.

Davis played his first AFL game against Geelong in Round 15 of 2019, then one game in 2020, four in 2021 and five in 2022. In that period he also played 69 SANFL games for Adelaide. Davis, who designed the club’s 2021 Indigenous guernsey, was delisted in October 2022.
