A tall key position prospect drafted from Victoria in 1995, Ashley Fernee played two AFL games in his first year with the Club. He was unable to force his way into the Crows side, however, and did not add to his game tally. Fernee spent a year with South Adelaide in the SANFL before returning to Victoria.
