Anthony Ingerson was a mobile and talented SANFL key forward who joined Adelaide’s squad before its second season after winning Central District’s best and fairest in 1991. He played 15 games in his first year with the Crows but only 22 in the next three years. He found more success after being traded to Melbourne, where he played 121 games in six seasons, mainly as a defender, before knee injuries forced him to retire during the 2001 season.
