Local talent Mitch Grigg was drafted in 2011 and while his SANFL form with Norwood and later the Adelaide SANFL squad was consistent, he was not able to break into and command a regular spot in the Crows’ senior team. During his five years on the Club’s list he played just 20 games.
On being delisted, Grigg returned to Norwood to continue his career, quickly rising to the top with back-to-back Magarey Medals in 2017 and 2018. The midfielder also received the 2018 Jack Oatey Medal as best-on-ground in the grand final.
